The Rodewald Concert Society was formed in 1911 in memory of the celebrated benefactor and conductor in Liverpool Alfred E Rodewald (1861 1903).
Patronship and Membership
Membership of the Society is offered to anyone who shares the aspirations of the Society to continue to offer Liverpool and Merseyside the opportunity to hear Chamber Music of the highest quality. While the amount is set at £10 per year, the Society will welcome patrons who feel able to contribute to the Society in any way possible. Patronage indicates support for Chamber Music in general and allow the Society to cater for their interests in the provision of focused concerts. A full range of privileges can be obtained from the Secretary.
Patrons and Members are entitled to a vote at General Meetings of the Society and also to stand for membership of the Committee of management. By expressing interest in the Society, members can also ensure a healthy future for Chamber Music in Liverpool and Merseyside of the highest possible standard and quality.
